- Inspections: Final pricing is subject to a physical inspection of the property. We reserve the right to adjust quotes based on unforeseen jobsite conditions (e.g., rotted decking, hidden structural issues) discovered during the project.
- Validity: Quotes are typically valid for thirty (30) days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated in writing.
3. Scheduling and Weather
Roofing and exterior work are highly dependent on weather conditions.
- Delays: We are not liable for delays caused by rain, high winds, extreme temperatures, or other “Acts of God.”
- Rescheduling: We reserve the right to reschedule projects to ensure the safety of our crew and the integrity of your property.
4. Customer Responsibilities
To ensure a successful project, the customer agrees to:
- Provide clear access to the driveway and perimeter of the building.
- Secure or remove fragile items from interior walls and ceilings (vibrations from roofing can occasionally cause items to fall).
- Ensure pets and children are kept away from the work zone during active construction.
5. Payment Terms
- Deposits: A deposit may be required before materials are ordered or work commences.
- Final Payment: Payment in full is due upon completion of the project unless alternative financing or payment plans have been agreed upon in writing.
- Late Fees: Late payments may be subject to interest charges or collection costs as permitted by Oklahoma law.
6. Warranties
- Workmanship: We provide a limited warranty on our labor/workmanship. The duration and specifics of this warranty will be detailed in your signed contract.
- Materials: Material warranties are provided by the manufacturer (e.g., GAF, IKO, Owens Corning). Standard Roofing & Contracting is not responsible for manufacturer defects but will assist you in filing a claim where applicable.
